Health & Fitness Disclaimer
Last updated: September 2026
Your health and safety are the foundation of everything we do at Montague Movement & Mind. Please read this disclaimer carefully before using this website, engaging with any content, or booking a personal training session.
Not Medical Advice
The information on this website — including descriptions of training methods, fitness philosophies, wellness approaches, exercise techniques, and any related content — is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional medical guidance. Montague Movement & Mind and Michael Montague are not medical doctors, physiotherapists, or registered healthcare professionals. Do not rely on content from this website as a basis for any medical or health decision.
Consult Your Physician First
Before beginning any new exercise programme — including any programme described or offered by Montague Movement & Mind — you should consult a qualified physician or licensed healthcare provider. This is especially important if you have a pre-existing medical condition, injury, chronic illness, cardiovascular concern, joint or bone condition, or if you are pregnant, postpartum, or have recently undergone surgery. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this website.
Individual Results Vary
Any results, outcomes, or improvements described or implied on this website — whether related to strength, mobility, balance, mental wellbeing, or overall fitness — reflect individual experiences and are not guaranteed. Results depend on many factors including your age, health status, consistency, effort, and individual physiology. No specific outcome is promised or implied by engaging with our services.
Assumption of Risk
Physical exercise carries inherent risks, including muscle soreness, strain, joint stress, falls, and in rare cases more serious injury. By participating in any training session or programme offered by Montague Movement & Mind, you voluntarily and knowingly assume all risks associated with physical activity. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for assessing whether participation is appropriate for your current health and fitness level, and that you participate entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Montague Movement & Mind and Michael Montague shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage — direct or indirect — arising from your use of this website, your reliance on any content herein, or your participation in any training session or programme. This limitation applies regardless of whether such harm was foreseeable or whether we were advised of the possibility of such harm.
Stop If You Feel Unwell
If at any point during exercise you experience chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, unusual pain, or any other concerning symptom, stop immediately and seek medical attention. Do not continue exercising through pain or discomfort that feels abnormal. Your safety always comes first — please communicate any concerns to Michael before, during, or after any session.
